Accounts Receivable Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable Assistant will provide support to collections team:
  • Accounts Receivable Assistant will complete customer set ups (averages 5 accounts/day but some days there are mass lists of a new group payment and will need to set up a list of 50 accounts)
  • Accounts Receivable Assistant will issue manual credit memos (no more than 5/day)
  • Accounts Receivable Assistant will respond to inquiries via email (this role will field 50-100 emails and then act on 15-20 email/day. The others would be delegated to someone else on the team for follow up.)
• Accounts Receivable Assistant will answer phones – will be answering 15-20 calls/day including taking credit card information/processing customer payments
• Accounts Receivable Assistant will complete ad hoc tasks – will be cross trained with cash application temporary employees

Requirements:

• 2+ years of AR experience a must
• Customer facing (business to business) experience is a must
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Basic Excel skills - data entry, able to navigate an Excel table, sum
• System is called SX – not required. Our client will train. This is an older system.
• Degree is a plus but NOT required
