Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Downtown Seattle/Part time Hours (25 hrs per week)-On-site-
Salary Range: $58,240 – $64,480

Our client, a well-established law firm headquartered in the heart of downtown Seattle, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will bring strong experience in billing and accounts payable, with prior exposure to a legal or professional services environment considered a significant plus.

Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• Full-cycle accounts payable processing, including invoice review, coding, and entry
• Partner with vendors to reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
• Support billing functions and client invoicing as needed
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Collaborate with other members of the accounting department and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience; legal industry experience is a plus
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
• Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal
