High-Volume, Fast-Paced Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Downtown Seattle | On-site
Salary Range: $56,160 - $62,400 DOE

Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist role:

As an integral member of the accounting team, you will:

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Manage corporate credit card transactions with complete documentation and audit readiness.
• Review and process employee expense reports and check requests in compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile accounts payable aging reports and ensure prompt resolution of discrepancies.
• Oversee intercompany transactions to ensure timely and accurate entries.
• Post payment transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and audit controls.
• Perform general ledger and job cost entries, including necessary adjustments and corrections.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience handling high-volume accounts payable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as CMiC and Sage 100 is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
