Accounting Manager
A leading family-owned media company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its team. This location is the company’s largest facility and a key focus of ongoing investment, with a strong presence across across markets.
Position Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee core financial operations, support strategic decision-making, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of financial statements and experience managing accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close and general ledger reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Payroll
- Oversee commission processing for sales team
- Prepare and present management reports and financial analyses
- Examples include evaluating contracts or leases and their budget impact
- Simplifying complex financial data for broader understanding
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with financial statements
- Proven management experience in accounting or finance
- Strong analytical and communication skills
