Senior Cost Analyst
$85000 to 107,500 per year base salary plus bonus
Hybrid work mode!!
Our client has over 5,000 employees and operates 29 manufacturing facilities strategically located throughout North America and over $1 billion in sales; one of North America's largest custom manufacturers of both National Brand and Retailer Brand consumer products. Product lines include Construction, Pharmaceutical and Health & Care, municipalities. We are seeking an Accountant who worked with a manufacturing firm wishes to partner with engineering and the plant controller to maintain pricing and costs for materials used in our production environment and analyzing data.
What you will do as a Senior Cost Analyst:
- Month close for inventory, adjusting journal entries.
- The Senior Cost Analyst will handle purchase price variance.
- Bill of materials and updating costs and pricing for products
- Interfacing with purchasing and engineering
- Maintaining the facility close
- The Senior Cost Analyst will interact with the plant scheduler for the 2 locations.
- Involvement with the plants annual budget and forecasting process
- Analysis of actual costs in comparison to the standards on a monthly basis
