Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Morgantown WV (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000

Job Type: Full-Time

Overview:

A growing team is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure across both corporate offices and remote field locations. This role goes beyond traditional network support—you’ll play a key part in securing and optimizing both IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems critical to field operations.

This is a hybrid role based in Morgantown, WV, with on-site work required three days per week. Occasional travel to remote field locations is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Cloud).

• Ensure high availability and reliability of network systems across corporate and field environments.

• Configure and manage network hardware: switches, routers, firewalls, modems, VPNs, DHCP servers, etc.

• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and uptime.

• Manage telecommunications vendors and monitor service delivery.

• Control network and telecom-related costs and budgeting.

• Provide on-call support for critical operations.

• Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, IP address inventories, and change control logs.

• Adhere to organizational IT policies, standards, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or industrial network engineering roles.

• Hands-on experience with network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, or similar platforms).

• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, ACLs, and secure remote access.

• Experience supporting remote field infrastructure, including technologies like VSAT, LTE, or long-range wireless.

• Ability to work in both structured office environments and outdoor/field settings.
