Key Responsibilities for the Senior Staff Accountant:
• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve accounting processes
Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience; life sciences or manufacturing experience a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem-solver
