Senior Accountant
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Compensation: $120K + Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on personal care products. This role plays a key part in managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and alignment with internal controls. The Senior Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Production, Supply Chain, and Quality—to support cost tracking, month-end close, and financial analysis that drives growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production data to ensure accurate product costing and margin analysis.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain standard cost models for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
