Our client, a large publicly traded global organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This newly created role has been established to support increasing business complexity and continued global expansion.

This is a high-visibility position with direct exposure to corporate accounting and controllership leadership. The role offers a broad scope across consolidations, SEC reporting support, treasury and intercompany accounting, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidation journal entries as part of the monthly close process
  • Consolidate financial results from global reporting units and prepare supporting analyses
  • Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including eliminations and reconciliations
  • Prepare quarterly financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules
  • Support SEC reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual filings
  • Assist with board reporting and executive-level financial presentations
  • Review financial data from operating units to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
  • Support treasury, intercompany, and corporate accounting functions
  • Partner with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits
  • Assist with internal controls testing and compliance documentation
  • Support and maintain consolidation systems and databases
  • Drive process improvements to enhance close efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Provide accounting guidance and support to business units and cross-functional partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (Master’s or MBA preferred)
  • CPA preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 firm or large public company strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with consolidations and multi-entity accounting highly preferred
  • Exposure to SEC reporting or financial statement preparation is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic environment
