Senior Accountant
Location: Greater Denver Area (Onsite for Training, Hybrid After)

Key Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management (50%) – Perform comprehensive three-way matching using Excel and data from multiple sources to reconcile the pharmacy operating system with GL software. Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close.

  • Month-End Close (25%) – Lead the month-end close process, including GL reconciliations and financial reporting, ensuring a smooth 5-day close cycle.

  • GL Reconciliation, CAPEX Administration, and Reporting (25%) – As a Senior Accountant, you will manage the fixed asset subledger, depreciation schedules, and Blackline reconciliations. Partner with corporate accounting for CAPEX reporting and oversight.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • Approximately 5 years of relevant accounting experience with an Accounting degree or similar.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion (GL) and Blackline (Recons) software.

  • Proficient Excel skills, including:

    • Data manipulation through Pivot Tables and LOOKUP’s

    • Power Query, Embedded SQL connections – PLUS

    • Complex formulas and links to additional workpapers

  • Creativity and outside-the-box thinking to enhance processes and problem-solving capabilities.
