Salary Range: $50,000 – $58,000


About the Opportunity:

Join a dynamic Customer Service team at a leading financial services organization! As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll support daily operations and deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients. Your role focuses on resolving past due accounts to collect payments.

Key Responsibilities – Customer Service Representative:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally to collect payments
  • Resolve or escalate issues related to billing, insurance, titles, payoffs, ACH updates, tax questions, and account changes
  • Handle escalated complaints with accuracy and urgency
  • Build strong relationships with customers and vendors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Track inquiries and provide feedback to management for service improvements
  • Support related departments (asset management, collections, titles) as needed
  • Meet service level goals and maintain compliance with company policies
  • Strive to meet Key Performance Metrics: Inbound and Outbound call handling and quality/timely standards; Productivity benchmarks and compliance
  • Use best judgment to resolve issues within guidelines; escalate complex cases when necessary

Qualifications – Customer Service Representative:

  • 1–3 years of collections experience, ideally in a financial institution
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret lease/legal documents and understand insurance, titling, and UCC filing requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment for decision making
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
