Key Responsibilities
As the Payroll Manager, you will:
- Lead and review multi‑state, weekly payroll processing using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee certified payroll reporting under Davis‑Bacon, Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship
- Partner closely with Time & Labor and Operations to resolve prevailing wage hours, classifications, missed punches, and reporting discrepancies
- Reconcile payroll‑related general ledger accounts and deliver detailed payroll reporting to Accounting
- Maintain fringe schedules, apprenticeship documentation, and certified payroll submissions within client portals and Department of Labor systems
Qualifications
We’re looking for a Payroll Manager who brings:
- 5–7 years of payroll experience, including hands‑on certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting
- Working knowledge of multi‑state payroll laws, compliance, and weekly payroll cycles
- Strong Excel skills with a high level of accuracy, organization, and follow‑through
