Human Resources Manager
Location: North Haven, CT (Onsite)
Salary: $85,000-$110,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager
- Oversee full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and recordkeeping
- Manage and process payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain timekeeping systems and partner with managers to resolve discrepancies (PTO, missed punches, etc.)
- Administer benefits including 401(k), medical, and open enrollment processes
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (ACA, E-Verify, CT reporting, etc.)
- Support safety initiatives including training, reporting, and maintaining OSHA-related documentation
- Assist with workers’ compensation claims and employee leave administration
- Maintain employee files, I-9 documentation, and HRIS records
- Coordinate with staffing agencies and assist with temporary workforce management
- Prepare payroll reporting, audits, and general ledger support as needed
Preferred Qualifications of the Human Resources Manager
- 2+ years of experience in HR and/or payroll functions
- Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
- Knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and benefits administration
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office
- Bachelors degree
- SHRM Certified
