Senior Financial Analyst
Location:
Wappingers Falls, NY – hybrid after training period
Compensation:
$90,000 – $125,000 + bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Corporate Accounting team in driving a disciplined, timely month‑end close, including process improvements across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Document and enhance standard operating procedures for month‑end, GL accounting, consolidation, and internal controls.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of accruals, prepaids, expenses, and other key accounts.
  • Lead cross‑functional process improvement initiatives across Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, and Inventory Purchasing (including AR, AP, revenue, costing, logistics, and accruals).
  • Support month‑end management reporting and financial analysis, including variance analysis, revenue and margin drivers, inventory and expense analysis, cash flow, and working capital metrics.
  • Partner with business leaders across Sales, Operations, and Marketing to translate financial insights into data‑driven recommendations, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability.
  • Track KPIs, evaluate pricing and cost optimization opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability and investment decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives (treasury, banking, tax), standardize and automate reporting, and support audits and compliance requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/or Finance.
  • CPA or Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a CPA firm.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution is highly preferred.
