Key Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant
- Own monthly close activities and prepare financial reports and variance analysis
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with audits and work with external accounting and tax partners
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and system or process improvements
Ideal Background for the Senior Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a Senior or Staff Accountant role
- Working knowledge of GAAP and strong Excel skills
- CPA Preferred
