Key Responsibilities of the Construction Project Coordinator
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and vendor records while processing invoices and subcontractor payment applications as the Construction Project Coordinator
- Manage and track subcontractor insurance certificates, ensuring compliance with subcontract requirements and policy expiration timelines as the Construction Project Coordinator
- Ensure AP documentation is processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with lien law and internal controls as the Construction Project Coordinator
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security over the company’s AP and vendor records as the Construction Project Coordinator
- Monitor lien status and communicate with management regarding past‑due accounts to protect lien rights as the Construction Project Coordinator
Qualifications for the Construction Project Coordinator
- High school diploma with accounting coursework; 2–5 years of hands‑on accounts payable experience
- Strong working knowledge of AIA documentation and lien law (required)
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced construction environment
