Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Maintain and reconcile job cost ledgers and ensure accurate cost allocation
- Analyze labor costs, payroll, and productivity to support job‑level margins
- Track inventory and apply material costs accurately to active jobs
- Manage fixed assets, capital expenditures, and depreciation entries
- Prepare month‑end journal entries, reconciliations, and close schedules
- Support year‑end close and external audit requests
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with strong job costing exposure
- Experience with month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Hands‑on fixed asset and depreciation experience
