Overview
We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager to support a growing construction organization. This role will lead day-to-day HR operations, including recruiting, payroll coordination, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting: Manage full-cycle hiring for field and corporate roles
- Payroll: Coordinate and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Oversee new hire setup, orientations, exits, and documentation
- Employee Relations: Partner with managers to address performance, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns
- Compliance: Maintain adherence to employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience across recruiting, payroll, and employee relations
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar field-based industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and payroll practices
