Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Miami, FL 33172
Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 based on experience
A rapidly expanding national organization in the manufacturing and distribution space is looking to add an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to its accounting team. The company specializes in premium event furnishings, décor, and interior products, and this position will play a key role in overseeing receivables operations within a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process, including billing, collections, account maintenance, and aging analysis
- Accurately process and post incoming payments via ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards while researching and resolving discrepancies
- Track overdue balances and communicate with customers to support timely collections and reduce outstanding receivables
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Assist with month-end close activities, audit preparation, cash receipt reporting, and provide backup support for Accounts Payable when needed
- Maintain organized financial records while ensuring adherence to company policies and internal accounting controls
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required
- Strong Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
- Background working in high-volume and/or multi-entity accounting environments preferred
