Position Overview
The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions while remaining hands-on in day-to-day operations. This role requires both strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff (minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience required)
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Partner cross-functionally with finance and operational teams
- Assist with audits and regulatory reporting
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience working within mid to large-size organizations
- Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory/leadership role
- Proven ability to be hands-on while managing a team
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
