Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:
• Maintain and analyze standard costs, inventory valuation, and overhead allocations
• Investigate and explain material, labor, and overhead variances
• Support month-end close and operational financial reporting
• Review BOMs, routings, and manufacturing cost structures
• Lead inventory processes including cycle counts and reserve analysis
• Partner with operations on cost reduction and process improvements
Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in standard costing and inventory valuation
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
