Salary: $93,000–$115,000

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
• Support sales and use tax research and audit readiness, including multi-state taxability assessments tied to recent acquisitions
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements, including 401(k) audit support and preparation of workpapers
• Support grant audit activities for international subsidiaries, particularly European operations
• Analyze accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance, ensuring proper GAAP treatment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Assist in building internal tax and audit capabilities currently partially outsourced to external firms
• Utilize NetSuite for financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations support
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support for evolving financial reporting needs in a pre-IPO environment

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to audit or tax functions
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred (Big 4 or mid-tier experience a plus)
• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
• Experience with sales and use tax, audit support, or technical accounting highly desirable
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a problem-solving mindset
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment tied to IPO readiness and acquisitions
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
