Senior Staff Accountant – Construction
Salary: Up to $85k

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Staff Accountant:
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with job costing and tracking project expenses
• Maintain and update WIP schedules and support percentage-of-completion accounting
• Partner with project managers to monitor budgets and project performance
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation
• Identify and support process improvements within the accounting function
Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, construction industry preferred
• Exposure to job costing or project-based accounting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with ERP or construction accounting software is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operations teams
