Senior Accountant Top Responsibilities:
- Assist with the close and consolidation process and prepare financial statements, including variance analysis and resolution of discrepancies
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis
- Collaborate with multiple departments and the accounting/finance team
- Support internal reporting for monthly management packages and GAAP/non-GAAP metrics
- Interface with external auditors during annual audits, including preparing statements, schedules, and documentation
- Handle month-end close duties: journal entries, reconciliations, and stock-based compensation
Senior Accountant Experience Preferred:
- Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred
- Education: B.S. in Accounting; CPA or CPA track strongly preferred
- Skills: Strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally
