Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
- Assist with month‑end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and basic analysis
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support audits by maintaining documentation and responding to requests
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate expense and revenue reporting
- Help maintain accounting processes and provide basic reporting as needed
Ideal Background for the Staff Accountant
