Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

• Prepare and maintain prepaid schedules, allocations, and recurring accounting entries

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances

• Assist with financial reporting and general ledger maintenance

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and accounting treatment of transactions

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and support related accounting activities

• Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and accounting efficiencies


Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• 5–7 years of accounting experience

• Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

• Oracle experience preferred

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
