Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Perform month-end closing duties: financial statements, preparation and review of journal entries, general ledger reconciliations
- Maintain Bill of Materials/Inventory Movement
- Provide support for internal and external audits, ensure adherence to standard requirements; create new processes to improve efficiency
- State and Use Tax
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Pubic Accounting Experience is a PLUS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
Salary: $80,000-95,000
