Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare and process high-volume journal entries (100–200 monthly)
• Analyze and review transactional data for accuracy and completeness
• Partner with internal teams to gather and validate financial information
• Support month-end close activities and journal entry workflows
• Learn and execute established accounting processes and procedures
• Complete ad hoc tasks & projects as requested
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of accounting (transactional journal entry experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate functions)
• Experience with financial systems (Workday a plus)
