Key Responsibilities

    • Manage accounts receivable processes, including posting payments, reconciliations, and aging
    • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for assigned programs
    • Track grant activity (revenue, reimbursements, drawdowns) and keep cash flow moving
    • Perform budget vs. actual analysis and follow up on variances
    • Support grant compliance and reporting, including audit preparation
    • Partner with program teams, leadership, and accounting colleagues across the organization
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies to keep financials clean and accurate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar background)
  • Around 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with AR, financial reporting, and general accounting
  • Comfortable working in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Ability to work on-site in San Antonio
  • Grant accounting experience (federal, state, or local funding)
  • Experience with Acumatica ERP or similar accounting systems
  • Background in nonprofit or multi-funding environments
