Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable processes, including posting payments, reconciliations, and aging
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for assigned programs
- Track grant activity (revenue, reimbursements, drawdowns) and keep cash flow moving
- Perform budget vs. actual analysis and follow up on variances
- Support grant compliance and reporting, including audit preparation
- Partner with program teams, leadership, and accounting colleagues across the organization
- Identify and resolve discrepancies to keep financials clean and accurate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or similar background)
- Around 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with AR, financial reporting, and general accounting
- Comfortable working in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Ability to work on-site in San Antonio
- Grant accounting experience (federal, state, or local funding)
- Experience with Acumatica ERP or similar accounting systems
- Background in nonprofit or multi-funding environments
