About the role:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Litigation Paralegal to support the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. The group handles a broad range of commercial and personal disputes, including real estate, zoning and land use, title, finance, corporate, business transaction, estate, and telecommunications-related matters.
- Assist attorneys with all phases of commercial real estate litigation, including pre-suit investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, arbitration, mediation, settlement, and appeals.
- Draft, revise, proofread, and organize litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, correspondence, motion exhibits, and closing binders.
- Manage case files, document databases, calendars, deadlines, and matter-related materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely follow-up.
- Coordinate and assist with e-discovery, document collection, review, production, and organization of electronically stored information.
- Prepare deposition, hearing, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appellate materials, including exhibit lists, witness files, trial binders, and electronic presentations.
- File and serve documents in federal and state courts and administrative forums, including electronic filing systems where applicable.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, agencies, vendors, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
- Track court rules, procedural requirements, service deadlines, and case milestones across multiple matters.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably with commercial real estate, title, land use, zoning, construction, landlord-tenant, or complex commercial disputes.
- Paralegal certification and/or a bachelor’s degree.
