About the Senior HR Specialist role:

  • The Senior HR Specialist will manage the hiring process, ensuring proper policies and procedures
  • Lead the onboarding process and conduct new hire orientation
  • Ensure accuracy and timely processing of benefits
  • The Senior HR Specialist will be the point of contact for employees
  • Partner with business leaders on employee coaching and development activities
  • The Senior HR Specialist will keep current on all relevant laws and reporting to ensure requirements are met throughout organization
  • Manage and monitor Workers Compensation claims and ensure compliance on processing

Requirements of the Senior HR Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years benefits and leave administration experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management, including hiring, terminations, supervisor and employee coaching
  • PHR, SHRM or other HR Certification a plus!
