Property Accountant
Salary: Up to $85,000
Location: Downtown Boston, MA (3–4 days onsite)
CFS is partnering with a growing real estate group seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant with residential experience to support a dynamic portfolio. The Property Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong operational support.
Job Description
- The Property Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential properties
- This Property Accountant will handle month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements as a core responsibility of the Property Accountant
- Partner with property managers to ensure accurate tracking of expenses, budgets, and variances
- Utilize real estate accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, or RealPage to manage financial data
- This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Property Accountant looking to grow within residential real estate
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4+ years of property accounting experience
- Residential real estate experience required
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or RealPage required
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
