We’re partnering with a fast-growing, industrial services company in Southeast Houston that’s making big moves and growing exponentially.
They’re reorganizing their accounting department and creating a brand-new Accounts Payable Specialist role to support that growth.
This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys Accounts Payable.
What You’ll Do:
- Process 2000 invoices per month in a paperless electronic environment
- Research and trouble shoot discrepancies
- Partner with internal departments to process check request
- Correspond with vendors regarding payment terms and payment dates
- Pair PO or back up to invoices within ERP system
- Support ad hoc Accounts Payable projects
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of solid Accounts Payable experience in an electronic environment
- A self-starter mindset and someone who is assertive but flexible
- Strong business acumen with great communication skills – verbal and written
- Bonus points for systems experience with Spectrum and intermediate MS Excel
