Key Responsibilities – Credit Screening Representative
- Perform detailed credit risk evaluations to support sound lending decisions while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Assess applicant financial strength by reviewing credit reports, financial statements, and relevant market indicators
- Review loan applications, including financial background and collateral, and recommend appropriate credit terms and conditions
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, underwriting, and legal to gather, validate, and interpret applicant information
- Provide customer support via phone, email, and chat by resolving credit report discrepancies and missing or inaccurate bureau data
- Participate in conference calls with consumers and creditors to verify balances, payment histories, and account details
- Share process knowledge and best practices with team members to support overall performance
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees, including conference call procedures and supplemental report preparation
Qualifications – Credit Screening Representative
- Recent experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Excel, including data entry and spreadsheet navigation
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting phone, quality, and performance metrics
- Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support peers and contribute to shared success
