About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Controller to support our client’s accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for a strong accounting leader who can step in quickly, oversee financial operations, and provide stability and structure to the organization. Acumatica or similar ERP/accounting software exposure is a big plus for this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close
- Manage and review financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and GAAP
- Lead and support the accounting team, providing guidance and oversight
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support key business decisions
- Utilize accounting software — Acumatica experience strongly preferred — to manage and streamline financial processes
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an accounting leadership role, such as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accountant ready to step up
- Acumatica or similar ERP/accounting software exposure is a big plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a contract capacity
