Part-Time AR Clerk

A growing real estate management company in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Part-Time AR Clerk to join its accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post resident payments, ACH transactions, EFTs, lockbox payments, and daily deposits.
  • Scan checks for remote deposits and maintain accurate resident account records.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, and account inquiries.
  • Process account adjustments and late fees as needed.
  • Prepare monthly collections reports, management fee schedules, and invoices.
  • Review resident accounts for accuracy and identify data entry errors.
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and annual audit activities.
  • Collaborate with property management and administrative teams to resolve account-related matters.
  • Utilize accounting systems, including Onesite and Jenark.
  • Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of AR experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

  • Pay: $24-25/hr
  • Location: Bethesda, MD – free parking
  • Schedule: 20 hours per week, split over 3 days
  • Work Environment: 100% Onsite
  • Employment Type: Ongoing Contract
