Accounting Specialist

Salary: $110,000–$130,000/yr

Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:

• Develop cost estimates, models, and Excel-based build-ups for materials, labor, and overhead
• Perform inventory and COGS account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Analyze manufacturing variances and labor productivity metrics
• Maintain project cost ledger accuracy and reconcile to the balance sheet
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve cost, inventory, and process issues


Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP experience (Costpoint preferred) and knowledge of project accounting
