What You’ll Do:

As the Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records while supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate account discrepancies
  • Maintain and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for external audits
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to support business operations and reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting software
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
