Key Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts and transactions to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Lead and support month-end close activities related to revenue accounting, including reconciliations and analysis
• Analyze revenue trends, fluctuations, and variances to support management reporting and business insights
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure accounting treatment aligns with business activity
• Assist with the evaluation and enhancement of internal controls surrounding revenue processes
• Support ongoing improvements to revenue accounting workflows, documentation, and close efficiency
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to external auditor requests related to revenue accounting
• Serve as a technical accounting resource for revenue recognition matters within the accounting organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including direct experience with revenue recognition – ASC 606
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Effective communicator capable of translating technical accounting guidance into practical business solutions
