Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
• Oversee financial reporting, including statement of financial position, activities, and cash flows
• Manage general ledger, month-end close, and daily accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (ASC 958) for nonprofit organizations
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Qualifications for the Controller:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA required
• 5–10 years of accounting/finance experience, including nonprofit accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit reporting (ASC 958)
• Experience managing staff and accounting operations
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting system experience
