Accounting & Human Resources Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
Accounting (Approximately 50%)
- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Enter, verify, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively, including formulas, IF statements, and data analysis to support accounting functions.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Human Resources & Administration (Approximately 50%)
- Process biweekly payroll while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS databases.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, and other HR initiatives.
- Support recruiting and hiring activities, including scheduling interviews and preparing employment paperwork.
- Provide general administrative support across the office, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or HR support role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
- Previous experience supporting payroll and human resources functions is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and IF statements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and employee information.
