Accounting & Human Resources Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Accounting (Approximately 50%)

  • Process full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting documentation.
  • Enter, verify, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively, including formulas, IF statements, and data analysis to support accounting functions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.

Human Resources & Administration (Approximately 50%)

  • Process biweekly payroll while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS databases.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee documentation.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, and other HR initiatives.
  • Support recruiting and hiring activities, including scheduling interviews and preparing employment paperwork.
  • Provide general administrative support across the office, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or HR support role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
  • Previous experience supporting payroll and human resources functions is highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and IF statements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and employee information.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
