Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
Salary: $90,000-$110,000 + Profit Sharing

The Senior Accountant’s Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the month-end close and financial reporting process
  • Manage project accounting, client billing, and revenue recognition
  • Oversee payroll, cash management, and day-to-day banking activity
  • Prepare financial statements and support budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the external CPA firm during year-end
  • Improve accounting processes, controls, and overall operational efficiency

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience within professional services, consulting, or another project-based environment required
  • Deltek VantagePoint experience strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to work independently and take full ownership of key accounting functions
