Full-Charge Bookkeeper
Location: Bakersfield, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 DOE

They’re looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting function and being a trusted resource for leadership.
This is more than a bookkeeping role. You’ll oversee the full accounting cycle, support financial reporting, and play a key role in helping leadership make informed business decisions.
The Opportunity
As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
What You’ll Do

Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and assist with month-end close

Process payroll and maintain accurate employee and vendor records

Prepare financial reports and support budgeting and cash flow management

Work closely with leadership to improve accounting processes and maintain compliance
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience

Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Experience with payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
