Overview of the Project Accountant role
- Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Cosmos report clean-up and month-end “book” creation
- Support cash application clean-up, process controls, and documentation for resident postings and bank reconciliation catch-up
- Build department-level FY27 budgets and load into Business Central
- Assist with budget tool implementation based on selected platform
- Communicate month-end close expectations, definitions, and accounting workflows across locations
- Implement approval routings and workflow controls in Business Central for AP and journal entries
Preferred Qualifications for the Project Accountant role
- CPA strongly preferred, or senior accountant / controller-level experience
- Strong background in month-end close, bank reconciliations, cash applications, and process controls
- Experience with dashboard reporting, KPI trending, and financial data visualization
- Advanced systems experience with Business Central, Power BI, and workflow automation tools
- Proven success documenting processes and improving accounting controls

$73,000.00 to $93,600.00
