Accounts Payable Specialist
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000
Location: Orlando, FL

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Manage lien waivers and ensure all compliance requirements are met prior to payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate payment discrepancies
- Assist with weekly payment runs including ACH, wire transfers, and checks
- Maintain subcontractor records and payment documentation
- Partner with project managers to obtain approvals and ensure proper documentation is in place
- Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting
- Assist with audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
- Construction, contractor, or project-based accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling lien waivers required
- Experience with purchase orders, invoice matching, and vendor payment processing
- ERP/accounting system and strong Excel skills experience required
