Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cost Accountant:

  • Maintain and improve standard inventory costing processes
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual, budgeted, and estimated costs
  • Analyze gross margins by product and provide insights to sales and leadership teams
  • Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs)
  • Update labor and overhead rates to ensure accurate product costing
  • Leverage ERP to improve reporting, costing accuracy, and business insights

Qualifications for the Senior Cost Accountant:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing accounting or cost accounting experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or public accounting experience supporting manufacturing clients
