Property Manager
Location: Boston, MA
Salary Range: $63,000 – $74,000
CFS is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization to hire a Property Manager responsible for overseeing a portfolio of housing and shelter programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact between landlords, residents, program staff, and facilities teams to ensure properties are well-maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong landlord and property management relationships.
- Negotiate leases, renewals, and rent agreements for housing units.
- Process recertifications and maintain housing compliance documentation.
- Support inspections and ensure compliance with affordable housing and HUD requirements.
- Partner with program staff to address resident concerns and lease compliance matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of property management experience, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of affordable or subsidized housing programs preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
