Key Responsibilities for the Accounting Manager:

• Lead month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and cash flow processes.
• Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Support project costing, profitability analysis, and revenue recognition activities.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen accounting controls and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX-related accounting requirements.

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred but not recquired.
• MUST have strong Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP; exposure to SOX environments goes right to the top.
• Manufacturing experience a strong plus.
