Position Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join a high-performing finance and accounting team. This role will oversee critical accounting functions, support financial reporting processes, manage month-end close activities, and partner closely with finance leadership to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with strong leadership capabilities, a process improvement mindset, and a desire to grow within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Review account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, including:
    • SG&A expenses
    • Working capital
    • Inventory
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accrued compensation and expenses
  • Assist with the preparation and review of internal and external financial reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
  • Develop and implement accounting process improvements and internal controls
  • Partner with operational and finance leaders across the organization
  • Support acquisition-related accounting and integration activities
  • Assist with audit coordination and compliance requirements
  • Drive reporting automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and executive-level reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience within a large corporate or multinational environment is a plus
