We’re partnering with a stable, growing manufacturing company seeking a Staff Accountant to join its collaborative accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their accounting experience beyond traditional accounts payable. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll gain exposure to month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, sales & use tax, financial analysis, and other core accounting functions while working alongside an experienced leadership team.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable while helping maintain accurate and timely vendor payments
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support the month-end close process
- Prepare and file sales & use tax returns
- Perform account analysis and assist with ad hoc financial reporting and projects
- Provide backup support for rebate administration and cash applications as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
- Partner closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller on day-to-day accounting operations
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate data
- Experience with JDE or a similar ERP system is preferred
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented professional who enjoys learning and taking on new responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
